Shoes, Shoes and More Shoes!!!!

With so many kinds of Ladies' shoes out there, it's no wonder we need to name each and every style. Here is an easy How to recognize ladies shoes styles:

Flats
:

Shoes: FlatsFlats are a women shoe style charactered by a flat bottom. Flats shoes have no heels or very low heels. Flats can be shoes, boots, or slip-ons.


Ballet Flats: Shoes: Ballet Flats

Ballet Flats are ladies shoes resembling the style of a quintessential ballerina shoe. Ballet Flats are no heeled shoes which often feature a bowtie on the upper or ribbon ankle ties. Ballet Flats are typically round toed shoes that are Slip On Shoes. Ballet Flats are also commonly referred to as Ballerina Flats, Ballerina Slippers or Ballerina Shoes.

Clogs are closed toe, backless shoes. The soles of Clogs are typically made of wood, rubber, or molded plastics. Clogs may have a variety of materials for uppers. All Clogs are Slip On Shoes. Clogs can be a variety of stylings ranging from athletic, to dress, or casual influences.


Crocs:Shoes: Crocs

Crocs are rubber, multipurpose and unisex shoes. They have ventilation ports for breathability and to filter water and debris from footbed.






Flip Flops:

Shoes: Flip FlopsFlip Flops are sandals with a piece of material separating the big toe and second toe and then attached to the sole on the sides of the foot to secure the shoe. Flip Flops are typically made out of rubber or leather materials.

Saddle Shoes are shoes, generally made of leather, having a contrasting saddle-shaped band over the instep. Traditionally, Saddle Shoes are typically white uppers with black saddle piece, although other colors may be found.




Heels
are the part of the shoes featuring an incline. Heels could be a Shoes: Cone Heelseparate piece from the outsole or a wedge heel which runs the entire length of the outsole. The heel provides elevation and can be found in many different shapes, including block, cone or tapered, blade, and wedge. LAdies Heels can also be of different heights such as Kitten Heel (less than 2"), Stilleto Heel (3'"and up), Low Heel (5/8" to 1-3/8"), Mid Heel (1-1/2" to 2-5/8") or High Heel(2-5/8' and up). Any ladies dress shoe with a medium to high heel is known as Pump shoes.

Stilettos are Ladies shoes with a long, narrow heel measuring about 3 inches or more in height. Stiletto heels are also referred to as spiked heels.

Peep Toe Shoes:


A style of women's shoes that are mostly closed around the toes, except for a small hole at the tip that allows the end of the big toe to show through.








Dress Sandals

Dress Sandals are any styling of women sandals that is appropriate for wear in more formal occasions. Ladies Dress Sandals usually have more eye-catching designs and colors, and they may have decorative ornamentation.

Slingbacks are a type in women shoe in which the heel is exposed yet is contained or secured by a strap that sits above the heel around the ankle.

Mary Janes are women shoes with a strap, or multiple straps, across the top of the shoe, usually right over the top of the foot. Mary Janes typically have rounded closed toes.

Espadrilles shoes:

Women's slip on shoes of Spanish origin; traditionally they have a woven fabric (usually canvas) upper, a flexible sole woven from rope or jute, and a strap that ties around the ankles. Other versions of espadrilles may have leather uppers and an adjustable ankle strap (instead of a tie strap).

Wedge Heels are ladies shoes with a wedge heel that runs under the foot, from the back of the shoe to the middle or front. Wedge Heels have a heel with a triangular, wedge shape ranging from low to high heels.

Platform Shoes are ladies shoes with a thick, raised outsole where both the heel and the toes are raised, thus providing height to the wearer. Platform Shoes may also have an elevated toe area with a separate heel.





Ankle Strap shoes: Shoes: Ankle Straps



Ankle Straps are Ladies shooes with an adjustable strap attached to the back of the shoe that wraps around the ankle.







Shoes: LoafersLoafers:


Loafers or penny loafers are low, leather step-in shoes with tops that resemble moccasins, but have broad flat heels. Loafers have no shoelaces or buckles. Penny loafers are made of leather and are often worn for formal occasions.



D'Orsay Pump:
Shoes: D'Orsay pumps



D'orsay pumps are women shoes which resemble a regular pump shoe but missing the middle part; d'orsay pumps sometimes come in closed or open toes.
